Holiday Break

As we enter the holiday break, I wanted to say thank you all for your continued support these last nine years!

This year presented me with a lot of challenges, but I got a dream job a few months ago, so things in life have improved a lot! I know I’ve posted OOTDs almost exclusively this year so I could concentrate on getting settled into that aforementioned dream job, but next year, I’ll be bringing some more variety of content.

Speaking of next year, please join me celebrating the tenth year of this site! 10 years?! I’m super touched and moved by your continued support, and I thank you with all my heart!

I began this blog to encourage and inspire you to enjoy your style, whether it be nerdy, gothy or sparkly; regardless of size, age or budget restrictions.

I will continue to do so with OOTDs with shopping links, articles with tips and tricks, and inspiration to wear the dress, buy the piece you’ve always wanted to try, take that selfie and express your personality through style.

Because style turns you into a walking, talking work of art and self-expression, and you live your life in it.

So, please join me for 10 more years of fun!

I love all of you, and thank you again.

Outfit of the Day: Dapper Bat Dress

Hello all!

I wanted to share my birthday gift from my boyfriend that he got me at Dapper Day!

This dress is so cute, I cannot wait to wear it at a future Dapper Day, not to mention all the Halloween fun events in the future.

He picked this up at the Dapper Day event at Disneyland, but you can click and buy one here.

Shoes are from Biion Footwear. Petticoat is from Amazon. Belt also from Amazon.

Happy Shopping!

Dapper Day Fall 2021

Dapper Day is back! I am so happy about this, I cannot properly express it.

This year’s was a smaller than usual, which was expected, but it was a great event that we were so ready to make its return.

I wore this cute Edna Mode dress from shopdisney.com. Click on link to buy.

I absolutely love this dress! I had no idea, but it has my catch-phrase, “Style is Your Superpower” on it, and it is in my favorite colors!

The petticoat is from Amazon, as are the shoes. The glasses and cigarette holder are also from Amazon. Click on links to buy!

Now, we await Spring Dapper Day 2022!

See ya there…

Outfit of the Day: Tony Stark Dapper

I recently saw a ton of people with EDITH (Even Dead, I’m the Hero) glasses on TikTok. I got a little jealous, and ordered my own off Amazon. Once I got them in, I just had to style an outfit around them.

I shopped my closet and came up with a new Tony Stark Dapper look that would be great for a con or a theme park.

The dress I got from Amazon. I love this dress. It was inexpensive and it has a nice stretch and came in a ton of colors. So, you KNOW I got every color in my size. I’ve gotten more than my money’s worth out of them for sure! Petticoat is from Amazon.

The glove and arc reactor are cosplay props that I already had, but you can get your own from Amazon and from Etsy. Sneakers from Amazon. Just click on the links.

Happy Shopping!

Marvel Bound: Doctor Strange Dapper

For our latest look of the day, I went into some looks I created during the pandemic for future trips to Disneyland and cons- Doctor Strange Dapper.

I created this look entirely from Amazon finds. Shopping links will be below.

I started with a 50’s swing dress in navy blue. I bought this dress in every color available in my size. The fabric is so soft and stretchy, but it keeps its shape and looks like taffeta, in my humble opinion. Petticoat is from Amazon.

Next, we needed the good Doctor’s Cloak of Levitation. For a 50’s look, I went with a capelet.

The belt I mixed a 50’s stretch belt with one that looks more like Doctor Strange’s belt.

I put the comfy Chuck Taylors with this look for walking all over parks and cons.

Last touches were the Eye of Agamotto and his Sling Ring.

Happy Shopping!
