Hey. So, after holiday break, a couple things happened. First, I was laid off, but I had very high hopes for two jobs that fell through. So, I’ve been Lyft driving to make money, but it takes up all my time so content creation is tough.
Second, is the possible TikTok ban. As if we aren’t having a tough enough go, we are going to have our community ripped from us. For some, their livlihoods!
I don’t make any money creating. This is just fun for me. I do have a store, but mostly the merch I just end up sending for free to followers. There is a new lip oil up if you want to check it out. I’ll do a real formal launch when I know where to launch it!
I like creating content, makeup with my makeup wholesaler, and fun digital graphics for clothing and homegoods. I have a small following and love all you guys! You’ve told me that my content makes you feel seen and gives you the confidence boost to start expressing yourself without apology. That means the world to me. That is why I do this.
Tiktok ban or no, this blog will continue! Next year is our 10 year anniversary. No way I’m stopping now! I have already set up at Red Note click to go to link. I’ll add to my LinkTree soon. My presence on FB has already dwindled because it is just so unpleasant. My presence on other Meta apps is up in the air, tbh. I’m so angry at Zuckerberg. I was on Twitter for about a month a decade ago, and with their leadership, I will not be going over there.
So, I’ve been working and waiting to see where TikTok goes, and where my community goes so that I can follow.
All while looking for a day job to pay for, well, everything! I have kind of created a routine with driving, so I hope to get some content out soon. Hopefully on TikTok, but Red Note if TikTok is gone.
