Early Code Orange!!!

Recently, the BF and I went to Disneyland, and I took advantage of my time in Orange County to visit the At Home store for the first time.

Several YouTubers I watch had shown that At Home had started stocking Halloween items early, so since I do not have an At Home near me, but Disneyland does… well, I had to go!

This store did not disappoint!

I got the cute items you see in these pictures. I enjoyed shopping in person, but they do have a website here so you can start your decorating early as well.

A Trip to Disneyland

Recently, the BF and I got to go back to Disneyland; this time to both parks.

We started our day at Disneyland Park. We made our way straight to the updated Jungle Cruise.

My Jungle Cruise dress is from Shop Disney or at the Disney Dress Shop in the parks.

I got this dress about a year ago, and have been wanting to wear it since then! I paired it with a hat from Amazon, gloves from Amazon and shoes from…surprise, Amazon. Click on links to buy.

In the afternoon, we made our way to Disney’s California Adventure. We hit up the photo ops in the Hollywood area and then off to the Avengers Campus!

Notes on Gender References: Let me start with clothes have no gender! However, sometimes I do need to make a gender reference in regards to a piece. I promise the only reason I say, "ladies' boots" or "men's pants" is to let you make note of what department I found them and for sizing. This tends to happen mostly with shoes. You'll be shopping on a site and the sizing listed will be men's for a pair of boots. I own several "men's" pieces in my closet because it does not matter. What does matter is that you guys get the size you need and not an unpleasant surprise when a piece arrives and the sizing is all wrong for your body. This site is for all humans, and I want you to feel welcome. If there is ever anything that I write that gives you pause, please let me know so I can fix it and do better.

Kim Henderson McAndrew is an author and blogger known for her bold, self-proclaimed nerdy style and ability to combine cosplay with everyday fashion. Recently, she has begun to integrate goth and kawaii pieces into her wardrobe.
